(RE)CONSTRUINDO IDENTIDADES: O PAPEL DAS/OS DOCENTES NA VALORIZAÇÃO DA IDENTIDADE NEGRA NA EDUCAÇÃO BRASILEIRA

A Revista Acadêmica Online, com prazer, introduz o estudo intitulado “(RE)CONSTRUINDO IDENTIDADES: O PAPEL DAS/OS DOCENTES NA VALORIZAÇÃO DA IDENTIDADE NEGRA NA EDUCAÇÃO BRASILEIRA" de lavratura dos pesquisadores:  Weliton Luís Costa, Jhonatan Wendell Tavares Ferreira, Larissa Renata Dos Santos Pereira.

Este artigo se concentra no reconhecimento e fortalecimento da identidade negra no ambiente educacional, explorando o impacto das práticas pedagógicas e examinando as políticas adotadas no Brasil sobre essa temática. O objetivo primordial foi realizar uma revisão da literatura para investigar o papel crucial das/os docentes no processo de reconhecimento e empoderamento da identidade negra entre as/os estudantes. A análise dos estudos revisados destaca a relevância fundamental do engajamento das/os educadoras/es no reconhecimento e na valorização da identidade negra das/os discentes. As metodologias abordadas enfatizam a necessidade premente de um ambiente escolar que não apenas promova a representatividade, mas também fomente o respeito à diversidade étnica. Isso não só fortalece as/os alunas/os negras/os, mas também contribui para desmontar estereótipos e preconceitos arraigados. Estas reflexões oferecem uma base sólida para estratégias futuras, visando uma educação mais inclusiva e equitativa, reconhecendo e celebrando a riqueza da pluralidade étnica e cultural existente na sociedade brasileira.

ABSTRACT This article focuses on the recognition and strengthening of black identity in the educational environment, exploring the impact of pedagogical practices and examining the policies adopted in Brazil on this topic. The primary objective was to carry out a literature review to investigate the crucial role of teachers in the process of recognition and empowerment of black identity among students. The analysis of the reviewed studies highlights the fundamental relevance of educators' engagement in recognizing and valuing students' black identity. The methodologies discussed emphasize the pressing need for a school environment that not only promotes representation, but also encourages respect for ethnic diversity. This not only strengthens black students, but also contributes to dismantling deep-rooted stereotypes and prejudices. These reflections offer a solid basis for future strategies, aiming for a more inclusive and equitable education, recognizing and celebrating the rich ethnic and cultural plurality that exists in Brazilian society.
