O DISCURSO GEOPOLÍTICO DE INTEGRAÇÃO TERRITORIAL: UMA ANÁLISE SOBRE O SERTÃO (INTERIOR) BRASILEIRO

A Revista Acadêmica Online, com prazer, introduz o estudo intitulado “O DISCURSO GEOPOLÍTICO DE INTEGRAÇÃO TERRITORIAL: UMA ANÁLISE SOBRE O SERTÃO (INTERIOR) BRASILEIRO" de lavratura dos pesquisadores: Marco Túlio Martins, Laís Naiara Gonçalves dos Reis.

Este trabalho tem como objetivo central analisar o discurso do intelectual e geopolítico militar Nelson Werneck Sodré acerca do território brasileiro.  Foi colocado em destaque na análise a importância dada pelo intelectual na efetivação do processo de construção das infraestruturas de transporte para a consolidação do processo de integração do território. Para isso, Sodré elaborou um projeto territorial voltado para a função que as redes hidroviárias tiveram no processo de interligação das diferentes e distantes regiões brasileiras. Ligado à questão das hidrovias, Nelson Werneck Sodré fez uma análise da centralidade apresentada pelas Bacias do Prata e Amazônica no que diz respeito à geoestratégia nacional desde antes da fundação do Estado brasileiro, acompanhando um discurso que é anterior ao período do autor: o mito da ilha Brasil. E por fim coloca-se em destaque o papel da pequena propriedade colocado por Sodré como um símbolo do desenvolvimento capitalista.

Astract: This work aims to analyze the discourse of the intellectual and geopolitical military Nelson Werneck Sodré about the Brazilian territory. It was highlighted in the analysis the importance given by the intellectual in the implementation of the process of construction of transport infrastructures for the consolidation of the process of integration of the territory. For this, Sodré elaborated a territorial project focused on the function that the waterway networks had in the process of interconnection of the different and distant Brazilian regions. Linked to the question of waterways, Nelson Werneck Sodré made an analysis of the centrality presented by the Silver and Amazon basins in regard to the national geostrategy since before the foundation of the Brazilian State, following a discourse that predates the author's period: the myth of island Brazil. And finally the role of the small property placed by Sodré as a symbol of capitalist development is highlighted.
