ANÁLISE EPIDEMIOLÓGICA DE CASOS NOTIFICADOS DE SÍFILIS ADQUIRIDA E GESTACIONAL NA REGIÃO DO VALE DE SÃO PATRÍCIO-GO ENTRE OS ANOS DE 2010 E 2020

A Revista Acadêmica Online, com prazer, introduz o estudo intitulado “ANÁLISE EPIDEMIOLÓGICA DE CASOS NOTIFICADOS DE SÍFILIS ADQUIRIDA E GESTACIONAL NA REGIÃO DO VALE DE SÃO PATRÍCIO-GO ENTRE OS ANOS DE 2010 E 2020"  de lavratura dos pesquisadores: Dalisson Ribeiro dos Passos, Nádia Layane Evangelista Moreira, Lais Moraes de Oliveira Porfírio.

Caracterizar o perfil epidemiológico dos portadores da sífilis adquirida e gestacional entre os anos de 2010 e 2020 pertencentes aos municípios localizados na região do Vale de São Patrício – GO. Método: Trata-se de uma pesquisa descritiva e retrospectiva, com abordagem quantitativa, a partir do banco de dados disponível no Núcleo de Informação e Análise em Saúde, que contém as informações das fichas do Sistema Nacional de Agravos de Notificação. Resultados: No período de estudo foram registrados 362 casos / 100.000 habitantes de sífilis adquirida, com incidência maior no sexo masculino (58%) e predomínio nos municípios de Goianésia e Uruana (77 e 53/100.000 habitantes, respectivamente) e alta taxa de detecção nos anos de 2018 e 2019. Em relação a sífilis gestacional, foram identificados 425 casos / 1.000 nascidos vivos, com maiores registros em Goianésia, Jaraguá e Itapaci (133, 69 e 52 / 1.000 nascidos vivos). A caracterização das gestantes portadoras de sífilis demonstrou serem adultas jovens (20 a 29 anos / 56,7%), possuírem baixa escolaridade (21,2%), pardas (58,4%), obtiveram diagnóstico na fase primária da doença (43,8%) e identificadas no segundo trimestre de gestação (36,5%). Conclusão: O número de casos notificados vem crescendo com os anos, sugerindo que há uma necessidade de conhecer melhor o do perfil da doença, melhorar a assistência ao pré-natal e direcionar estratégias para promoção da prevenção e controle da sífilis. Além disso, em algumas variáveis foi possível ver a fragilidade no preenchimento das fichas de investigação, o que pode ter comprometido o diagnóstico da real situação desses agravos.

ABSTRACT

Objective: To characterize the epidemiological profile of patients with acquired and gestational syphilis between the years 2010 and 2020 belonging to the municipalities located in the region of Vale de São Patrício-GO. Method: This is a descriptive and retrospective study, with a quantitative approach, based on the database available at the Center for Information and Analysis in Health, which contains the information from the records of the National System of Notifiable Diseases. Results: During the study period, 362 cases / 100,000 inhabitants of acquired syphilis were recorded, with a higher incidence in males (58%) and predominance in the municipalities of Goianésia and Uruana (77 and 53 / 100,000 inhabitants, respectively) and high detection rate in the years from 2018 to 2019. In relation to gestational syphilis, 425 cases / 1,000 live births were identified, with higher records in Goianésia, Jaraguá and Itapaci (133,69 and 52 / 1,000 live births). The characterization of pregnant women with syphilis demonstrated that they were young adults (20 to 29 years old / 56.7%), had low schooling (21.2%), mixed race (58.4%), were diagnosed in the primary stage of the disease (43,8%) and identified in the second trimester of pregnancy (36.5%). Conclusion: The number of reported cases has grown over the years, suggesting that there is a need to better understand the profile of the disease, improve prenatal care and direct strategies to promote the prevention and control of syphilis. In addition, in some variables it was possible to see the weakness in filling out the investigation forms, which may have compromised the diagnosis of the real situation of these diseases.
