A IMPORTÂNCIA DOS PAIS NO PROCESSO DE EVOLUÇÃO DA TERAPIA FONOAUDIOLÓGICA DO(S) SEU(S) FILHO(S)

A Revista Acadêmica Online, com prazer, introduz o estudo intitulado “A IMPORTÂNCIA DOS PAIS NO PROCESSO DE EVOLUÇÃO DA TERAPIA FONOAUDIOLÓGICA DO(S) SEU(S) FILHO(S)" de lavratura das pesquisadoras: Luciana Silva Costa Sousa, Alessandra Mendes de Sales.

A família tem um papel fundamental no desenvolvimento e na comunicação do ser humano, além de ser responsável por propiciar os aportes afetivos e materiais de seus membros. Nesse sentido, o ambiente familiar contraditoriamente, é considerado um lugar onde a criança tem que ser protegida, assim como conviver com riscos para o seu desenvolvimento. Sendo assim, é necessário verificar de que forma os pais podem participar e se engajar no processo terapêutico da criança, para que ela tenha uma evolução positiva no tratamento.  Objetivos: Investigar a importância dos pais no processo de evolução da terapia fonoaudiológica do(s) seu(s) filho(s). Métodos: Consiste em uma pesquisa do tipo analítico e transversal, com abordagem quantitativa e qualitativa. Resultados: A pesquisa foi composta por 14 (100%) mães, na faixa etária de 36 a 46 anos, casadas 12 (85,71%), vivendo na mesma casa com a pai, com filhos encaminhados para terapia fonoaudiológica 06 (42,86%) com diagnóstico referente a atraso simples de linguagem, 01 (7,14%), Transtorno do Espectro Autista (TEA), 01 (7,14%) Transtorno de déficit de atenção e hiperatividade e 06 (42,86%) outras patologias e que destacaram que realizavam as atividades orientadas pelo profissional fonoaudiólogo em casa, 12 (85,71%) devido a importância para a evolução das terapias.  Conclusão: Com o estudo, pode-se afirmar que os pais com crianças em acompanhamento Fonoaudiológico na Clínica escola Ana Lucia Chaves Fecury, possuem um bom entendimento do seu papel no processo de evolução das terapias fonoaudiológicas dos seus filhos.

Abstrat

Introduction: The family plays a fundamental role in the development and communication of human beings, in addition to being responsible for providing the emotional and material contributions of its members. In this sense, the family environment, contradictorily, is considered a place where the child has to be protected, as well as live with risks to their development. Therefore, it is necessary to check how parents can participate and engage in the child's therapeutic process, so that the child has a positive evolution in the treatment. Objectives: To investigate the importance of parents in the process of speech therapy evolution for their child(ren). Methods: It consists of analytical and cross-sectional research, with a quantitative and qualitative approach.

Results: The research was composed of 14 (100%) mothers, aged 36 to 46 years, married 12 (85.71%), living in the same house with the father, with children referred for speech therapy 06 (42, 86%) diagnosed with simple language delay, 01 (7.14%), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), 01 (7.14%) Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder and 06 (42.86%) other pathologies and highlighted that they carried out activities guided by professional speech therapists at home, 12 (85.71%) due to the importance for the evolution of therapies. Conclusion: With the study, it can be stated that parents with children undergoing speech therapy at the Ana Lucia Chaves Fecury school clinic have a good understanding of their role in the process of evolution of their children's speech therapy.
